Since 1927, Castañer has taken a humble craft and turned it into a global style reference, always connected to creativity and fashion. It all started when Luis Castañer and his cousin Tomàs Serra opened their first workshop. Today, the same passion for jute continues to shape every pair of espadrilles, passing through the hands of fifteen artisans. Years later, a meeting with Yves Saint Laurent changed fashion forever with the creation of the first jute wedge. Now, with a presence in 20 countries, 30 standalone stores, and more than 900 multi-brand retailers, Castañer keeps its essence alive: craftsmanship, natural materials, and a way of making things that stands the test of time.
