Our purpose ir to ensure that you live a unique walking experience when you walk with callaghan.
In order to understand how our technology work and what it involves, we sould star with the most important part, the human foot, which is one of the most complex mechanisms as it a supports and balances our body´s weight.
During walking the foot expands between 5-8mm, conventional footwear has not beet designed to adapt to that increase in width. Based on the premise that the foot expands during walking, that each foot is different and that the way that every person walks is unique, we started working on developing the shoes that would adapt perfectly to the feet.
It has been more than 20 years since we created them and today we continue working to improve the Callaghan Adaptaction Technology so as to make in the best walking technology in the world.

私たちの目的は、お客様にユニークなウォーキング体験をしていただくことです。
私たちの技術がどのように機能し、どのようなものであるかを理解するためには、まず人間の足を理解しなければなりません。人間の足は、私たちの体重を支え、バランスをとる最も複雑な機構のひとつで、歩行中、足は5～8mm伸びるのです。従来の靴は、その幅の拡大に適応するように設計されていませんでした。歩行中に足が伸びるということと、歩き方は人それぞれ違うということを念頭に、私たちは足に完璧に適応する靴の開発に着手したのです。
このシューズが誕生してから20年以上が経ちますが、今日も私たちはカラハン・アダプテーション・テクノロジーを世界最高のウォーキング・テクノロジーにするため、改良を続けています。
